Great idea Zach. We’re all about incentives here right! This is on our list to do – let me know if you have any ideas on specifics you’d like to see.Jim commented
Duolingo is an excellent example of gamified language learning. Available on the web, android, and ios. I use all three. It awards 10 pts for each submodule completed and 2 lingots (language + ingot) which you can use to buy special modules. A question within a submodule could be: listen and transcribe, listen and translate, fill in the blank, translate text, arrange grammatical elements like a puzzle and, in some languages, speak into a microphone. You can "follow" other learners and post your progress on Linked in. It feels like a game, is fun, and is addicting.
Not yet! However, we do have our video content on iTunes so you can use any iTunes app.Jim commented
A mobile app would be nice, Viewing the website on a mobile device is doable but tedious. I love what you are doing here at MRU - a fantastic job! Revolutionary!Jim supported this idea ·
